[ It's a meeting pushed back by unpredictable events (Trench culty bullshit), if also unexpected by the nature of Trench. Peter and Robby meeting in Gaze's library, hitting on better than just for the promise of a valued bracelet. That's where Luna had come up: a witch, capable of protection wards, and an offer made that Robby had taken without even really know what it would do. Sure, Trench is weird, weird bullshit, what's a witch next to all of that?

Sometimes, you just really want to see to believe. And who doesn't want to see a witch? When you're on their good side.

The house is in Crenshaw, in the quieter side where the yards are possible, and where the protection efforts are less enforced. Nothing particular outstanding about it in decor compared to the other houses about it. The yard is its feature, though it's yet to be more than a future plan in progress, the grass unkempt, and its actual unique feature... what Robby had sent a message over, to help with directions.

its got a spiral chimney and theres a half pipe on one side of the front yard.

You know, just a half-pipe. Which is exactly where Robby can be found upon, if taking a break on the higher end with legs dangling off the side, or using the skateboard he has for the simplest of tricks. It's more about staving off restlessness than anything else; and once potential company is seen, Robby will stop, flipping up the board between hand and foot. ]

Hey-- Luna?

[ His voice is friendly, a crease to his brow, but that's for the windy weather. ...But all that is void, if Luna has any special means of getting to places that one wouldn't call ordinary.

--except, you know. Maybe the hello. ]

[ Ah. He looks at what he's sat on (which from his point of view, is just plywood than anything meaningful), then jumps off from the side, leaving the skateboard behind on top. There's a wrinkle to his nose, an apologetic look followed by the tip of his head. ]

Sorry, uh - I should've sent a picture, huh. [ Actually, he should have done that for the house, right? He's so not used to inviting anyone over - especially in a place without GPS, but functional camera-phones, apparently. ] Do you have skateboarding where you're from?

[ He asks it a little slow, picking his words as he's speaking, and deciding not to go with 'do witches have skateboards?' It hadn't occurred to him to think that a halfpipe was an oddity, but the thought also fascinates him.

What does a world with actual witches in it have? ]

[ A Muggle thing -- huh. He doesn't get it at first, and then does, and it's strange -- but then he wonders, well, isn't it the same as calling a witch a witch? Not the detail he focuses on, though he does give the clarification a small nod. ]

You didn't live in the same place as them? [ ...he doesn't mean to get distracted, and it seems obvious by her uncertainty that's how it is; but he can't help his curiosity, even if he keeps it conversational, light - easy to brush off if she chooses. ]

[ Huh. It's so peculiar, the way she makes the distinction between witches (wizardkind?) and non-witches (...non-wizardkind), like they're a different breed entirely. Living with them, but they also might as well be living in different countries.

Peculiar, but also interesting. His lips press as he considers it, then he nods. ]

I don't know anything about witches, so if there's any hiding in plain sight where I'm from, you do a good job keeping to yourselves.

[ A joke, the twitch of a smile. He hits his hands together, throwing a look back at the house, then points a finger at it. ]

Uh, do I need to let you in, move you around the garden, or? [ He chuckles lightly, a huff. ] I mean, I could make you a drink since you came all this way...

[ He feels a bit useless, not sure what to do in these circumstances - he doesn't get witchly visitors often, and not those that renovate the house with magical protection. Does it take long? She at least deserves the offer of a drink. ]

[ He nods as he listens to her, at least having a better idea now about how this works (well, marginally). Robby knows she has a wand, that she can do spells -- but how thoroughly those spells work is another thing.

But to showing her around the house-- ]

--Sure, yeah, come in. [ He goes up to the front step and opens the door, standing in the small entry hall with his hand on the handle, waiting for her to follow. A nod to some hooks, a jacket hanging on one, offering- ] You can take your coat off if you want, [ if she has one on, and not if she doesn't.

But, regardless: ]
I didn't know how you'd do this. Peter told me you used a wand? You're the best witch in his book. [ Not to snitch on your lovey-dovey feelings, Peter, but Robby says it fondly, with a smile. ] But I didn't want to ask him too many questions. ... actually, [ admittedly, ] I didn't know what to ask.

[ What does he know about witches, after all. There are two doors on either side of them, the hall lead farther down to a pair of stairs, and what looks like a kitchen to the side, a small corridor to its right. It's simple, aesthetics still matching with that of Trench.

He'll lead her towards a room, whenever she's ready. ]

[ Huh, so wandless magic is actually a thing. He learns through the tidbits that she supplies after he talks, smiling at the semi-protest of her talents as spoken by Peter. It's nice, though he still feels a nagging sheepishness, like he should be providing more in compensation for what she's freely giving away.

Well, he can only hope to give something towards the end. ]

Sure, alright. [ For now, Robby leads her into the living room first, standing to a side in his own space, hoping he won't get in the way of whatever it is she'll do. And that he wants to see most: the process. Will he even notice anything? ]

Oh, uh, there was something. Can witches turn people into [ frogs ] --animals?

[ Is there any way to ask that that doesn't feel a little rude?? And will she say something about frogs herself. ]
