[Happy Birthday, Harry!]

Left in a small red box, tied with gold ribbon on his desk sometime during the day is a present. Luna doesn’t have much money, but she is rather talented with crafts. So the gift she gives is a necklace she’s made herself, both by hand and magically. The thin chain is made with tiny red and golden yellow beads - similar to her own Butterbeer cork charm necklace that she wears.

But instead of a Butterbeer cork, she’s crafted and carved a small Snitch out of what probably once was a tablespoon, carefully marked with all its engravings from memory and also engraved with ‘H.J.P.’ – Harry’s initials, on the center. Harry will also find that if he holds the charm in his hand, the wings will beat slightly. Not like a real Sntich, but close enough.

Also with the box is a handmade card with a flying Hippogryff on the front, charmed so it flaps its wings. Written inside is simply: “Happy Birthday, Harry. Love, Luna”

[Harry stumbles on the present on his desk, and he picks it up, examining it and smiling. It's a wonderful gift, and he is thankful that he has friends here who remember his birthday when he certainly doesn't.

Obviously, he will have to seek her out after putting the necklace on to tell her thank you in person. ;_;]
