[ Peter sleeps very often here, even more than back in Deerington. However, since establishing that distinctive connection with Luna by an impalpable red thread, he's been trying to be awake, present, more. And it's easier, both because he wants to be, and because her thoughts keep him company. It's become something past simple fondness; he's reliant on that connection. They're not always physically together (though they are quite a bit), but even in the lapses, they can stay together mentally.
But his body and mind are... still very weak, even with Luna's presence giving him strength. He often naps, often slips into napping without even meaning to, if he just sits in one place for too long. Thankfully this time he's somewhere safe — back at the room he's been staying at with Ben and Will, curled up on the floor pallet. His thoughts are... empty right now; there's nothing going on as he sleeps. Just a heavy, peaceful darkness.
And then something stirs from the quiet, crawling up out of it. Something else that isn't Peter at all, but lives inside Peter.
Paimon's been able to communicate directly with some other.. inhuman beings, things he shares a thread of his own with for some reason, but the line between Peter and Luna belongs to them and he's... limited. Little snippets of thought, static that can't quite form something clear. He's talked to Luna before, though, in the ways that he can. He knows she's heard him.
And so while Peter's sleeping, the demon reaches out to the witch, tentatively. It's hard to communicate, frustrating, but if he can just let her know he's there... Maybe he'll be able to say more, the more they speak. ]
'Cluck.' [ It's a soft sound, and then after a long pause, there's another. The presence is tension and curiosity bundled together into some odd mixture, knocking quietly on the door of her thoughts. ]
