He's been more... eloquent before, last year. At the Anniversary Ball. But there's not some outside presence influencing him here. The only thing that comes to mind is... well, the blood ritual.

... It is you. [ Gingerly, she reaches for his offered hands and pulls herself back onto her feet, careful not to put too much strain on her bandaged hands. It is Paimon. There's concern there for her, the kind of care whoever he had become last month didn't have. There's a sudden wash of a new wave of relief. Relieved that it's him; she finds herself very glad that she has him back too.
There's a little huff of breath, a soft sound exhaled with it and she smiles tearfully with that comforting knowledge. She missed Peter, but she's... actually missed having Paimon around as well. This is the demon she knows, the one who knows her — the one who's been through so much with her. And with that, she leans forward to reach for him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders to pull him into a hug. She's quite for a little while, just gently holding onto him. She's missed him. ]
