I thought he might be after what happened.
Luna, are you alright?

I'm very sad he's gone. I feel like I lost a friend.
I went to the Silent Hall. I know you said not to go alone, but I had to see. And he wasn't there. He'd left a message.
I'm worried he's not at peace.

I'm sorry, Luna. He was a ghost though, and he wasn't at peace in the Tower either. I have to believe it's better for him wherever he went.
What message did he leave?

Yes, but
I did hope to help him find some sort of peace, Harry. You know?

I know, Luna.
I'm certain your kindness helped.
I don't think it means he isn't at peace. People come to grips with what they're sorry for before they pass on, don't they? I don't want you to worry.

I do hope so.
He had an awful lot to deal with, but I did tell him not to blame himself for his sister's death. He thought her ghost was here too, but I thought she was sad rather than angry at him.
You think so?
[Luna considers this for a few moments.]
Hmm, perhaps.

I am certain it did help.
You've helped me before as well. I imagine he liked having someone to talk to about it all.
Yes.
Sometimes it must be guilt that keeps ghosts on, and by apologizing, he was letting go of that guilt and moving on. That's what I like to think.

Yes, being talked to is all we ever really need sometimes. And I'm glad I did help you, Harry.
[She pauses, thinking this over. She agrees and feels much better about it.]
It's a very nice thing to think. Thank you.

You did. You have.
[He pauses too, small smile.]
You're welcome.
I hope you feel better. If you need anything at all, I am available.

I do, Harry, yes.
And I know, thank you.
