I was bullied in school, all because I was different.
It happened all the time.

People would steal my things and hide them all over school.


Even here in Chicago, where things are more weird, people still bully me.
I try to just bear it. Because if one is patient enough, people will soon accept you in the end.

But



It bothers me more than I let on to anyone.

On a different note, I am quite sorry that you've been bullied. It isn't fair and it isn't right. I won't say any of those cliched things about how words don't hurt, because they do. I will say be yourself, you're not alone, and feel free to stick up for yourself and then walk away to an adult.

The second part only applies to my own pre-Chicago high school experience, but yeah, I was bullied. A lot of wisecracks and laughing was used in defense. It wasn't very effective.
