I was bullied in school, all because I was different.
It happened all the time.

People would steal my things and hide them all over school.


Even here in Chicago, where things are more weird, people still bully me.
I try to just bear it. Because if one is patient enough, people will soon accept you in the end.

But



It bothers me more than I let on to anyone.

The second part only applies to my own pre-Chicago high school experience, but yeah, I was bullied. A lot of wisecracks and laughing was used in defense. It wasn't very effective.

Yeah, in Sunnydale, they usually did, but there was the whole Hellmouth effect going on there. We don't really have that problem here. There are angels and demons and more.

Hey, it's still what I choose. It's a good choice, and it's much easier than dealing with the actual feelings.
