[AS] A letter.

Dearest Sherlock and John,

 

Despite the fact we're all British and I suppose we don't particularly celebrate, I wish you both a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope when this letter finds you, you are both well and that you enjoy the holiday in New York.

 

I'm rather sorry I haven't been in contact much. I've been spending a great deal of time in the libraries here in Chicago. It's very easy to get lost within research.

 

Unfortunately, my research so far has been in vain. There appears to be no written records of Rifts or any strange phenomena that has happened here. I haven't found Kashtta Tower either.

 

I found some recent academic work on the River Hudson and have found a few people who have jumped into the Hudson and attained powers and then since left New York, but that appears to be it. There are no angels or demons here either, nor are their records on them ever being here. Maybe there are angels and demons here. They're just hiding, very secretive. It's very strange. I've never known Chicago to be so peaceful.

 

No sign of Ginny or anyone else from our Chicago, but I'm not too disheartened. I'm sure they'll turn up eventually.

 

I know I'm a very long way away, but please don't worry about me. I'm taking care of myself and staying safe. I was taken in by a lovely elderly couple for Thanksgiving. They're very nice, and they don't seem too bothered about the fact I'm a Witch.

 

I'm staying here a little longer yet, but I promise I'll be back soon. Hopefully for Christmas!
