Don't worry about it. I've noticed that. Some of my texts keep going to other people, too.
[ And like she learned from Chloe, this isn't very embarrassing, at least. Well, she doesn't believe it is. In fact, she can probably off him a little guidance. She knows Peter quite well, after all. ]
Peter can be quite anxious sometimes. I don't think it's something against you personally but as far as I can tell, Peter's world is quite mundane. [ She's... pointedly leaving out the part about Paimon. ] He gets a little spooked by things and people that are different as a result.
He's actually really nice when you get to know him. He's very warm and caring and gentle. It just takes a little while to coax it out of him, he just requires a little patience.
I don't mean to frighten him. I try not to bother him when we're both over at Mr. Dearborn's home. But I'll keep what you said in mind.
Did something happen between him and Fern? [ Because that's the other half of the equation here; it's clear that the two don't like each other, and that K mainly hanging around Fern could be contributing to Peter's attitude toward him. ]
I asked Fern but he's very circumspect about it. [ A polite way of saying Fern had snapped at him. ] Maybe it isn't my business. But I worry.
I believe that, K. Maybe just let him come to you. And I can talk to him too, if you'd like. [ Peter trusts her, and he might be a more willing to come around that way. ]
You noticed it, too?
[ Although it's likely not difficult to miss the fact that there's animosity between the two boys, considering what happened. There might not be any in-house fighting but it's clear the two don't get on, and stay away from one another for the most part. ]
Perhaps your business as much as it is mine. [ She treads the thin line between the two — of course she's incredibly close to Peter (even with his current distancing from her right now) but she's friends with Fern too. And it's a difficult situation to be in — but she knows what's going on, at least. ] I think you should be aware, considering we're all here living so close to one another right now.
There was a fight, back in January. I was part of it. It was quite bad. [ Fern had actively been trying to kill Peter. She had tried to stop it, Louis had tried to stop it — Quentin finally did stop it. ] I know they still don't like one another, but there hasn't been violence since. I suspect Peter hasn't completely forgiven Fern for it, nor for Fern for hurting me in the fight.

Miss Luna?
I'm sorry, I didn't. This keeps happening. I think something's wrong with the network...
[ As much as he'd like to avoid answering her other question, he can't bring himself to be that rude. ]
