While she wasn't sure of the exact details she had no doubt her mother could have passed trying to help someone else out as well. She wasn't sure but it was a thought that brought her a bit of comfort.

So my worlds filled with monsters. They're called the creatures of Grimm, or just Grimm. They're drawn to the negative emotions humans feel and basically kill for the sake of it. Huntsman and Huntresses are trained to be the best of the best so that we can protect those who can't protect themselves and fight off the Grimm.
We're encouraged to not serve any one particular kingdom and have the freedom to travel through the four doing what we can to assist. There are job boards set up to make it easier for people to get in touch with us.
I've wanted to be one ever since I was little. My dad and Uncle have both been teachers at academies and my mom was one too.
[She trails off at the mention of her mom, but quickly picks herself up to continue.]
So basically monster hunter might be the easiest way to put it, but it doesn't sound anywhere near as romantic as a Huntress and it doesn't quite cover everything I could do either.
[Her eyes go wide focusing back in when Luna says that she's capable of magic too.]

Honestly the travel has been great. I've got to travel between two continents and before I ended up here I was on my way to a third. And the Grimm are trouble but that's why they have groups like my team around.
We're not at a hundred percent official yet, but we're definitely living the life.

It's more complicated then that but that's the basics.
Once I got back on my feet I left to go track down the people that did it. I've been on the road ever since.
Well maybe when I get home and get to Atlas I'll give it a shot and see if I can make the title official. It would definitely be cool.
